Home Joseph Colbert, Esq.

Joe’s law firm is General Counsel for the organization, handling all legal matters. Joe has practiced law in New York and Connecticut for almost thirty years. Among New York’s most successful and prominent corporate and litigation attorneys, Joe has been identified among the top attorneys in New York and Connecticut. He is a general practitioner who focuses on the representation of organizations and individuals as general, corporate and litigation counsel. He is a graduate, with honors, from New York University Stern School of Business, Finance and International Business, and from St. John’s University, School of Law. He was a member of St. John’s Law Review and received the NY State Bar Association’s Legal Ethics award. Joe taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John’s University School of Law for years. He has also served as a mediator and arbitrator.

About us

We are a nonprofit devoted to helping children succeed with anxiety. We work to give children discrete ways to communicate their anxiety to trusted people before it escalates and manifests itself physically. Sometimes children can't verbally explain what they are feeling, especially in school.
